Kaido is one of the founders of Livonia Partners. He brings experience in global investment banking and private equity from roles at Bear Stearns and Irving Place Capital, in London and New York, starting in the early 2000s, where much of his work focused on the manufacturing and consumer goods sectors in Europe and North America.
Upon returning to the Baltics in 2012 he joined LHV Capital, where he met future fellow Livonia co-founders Rain and Mindaugas.
Kaido has completed the first investment and exit for Livonia - Thermory, a global leader in thermally modified woods, which he built up through a series of successful acquisitions and mergers.
Among the current Livonia portfolio companies, Kaido is responsible for Stebby, BestAir, Klaasimeister, and Scoro.
